Oh look! I went back to coloring that famous chibi series done at ~Prue84's home!
And now for some background: again this fanart comes from our mirror!reboot universe. In particular: the plushie that Kirk is squeezing is a present he got from his father early in his childood as George Kirk didn't die because of Nero (there isn't a Nero to begin with in that universe) but was around to see his beloved Jimmy grow up into a lovely child.
Also note that yes, that plushie is based on the I.S.S. Kelvin.
Also yes, George Kirk's uniform is basically like the standard reboot one since ~Prue84 decided it would be changed only later on to become more mirror-ish.
Also yes, both Sarek and George are totally smitten with their sons.
